Why Men Need Skin Care Too!!

Men do not care about their skin as much as women do. Aside from shaving their faces, for them skin care is a sheer afterthought.

If you are one of those guys who are foreign about exfoliation, moisturizing and the likes, most probably you are also foreign about skin care.

Just because you are a guy doesn’t mean that you are not vulnerable to skin lines and damages. You need to keep in mind that your skin is the first line of defense against diseases, sickness and germs.

Moreover, as you grow older, your skin loses its elastic nature and will develop facial lines, wrinkles, sagging and other skin problems. These alone are enough reasons why skin care is very important.

If you are worried about being vain and fussy about your skin, there are several skin care tips for men that are easy to follow and will not take much of your time.

What I have for you below are simple ideas on how you can keep your skin healthy, clean and younger looking. Read on!

Cleanse

This is the most basic thing you can do to take care of your skin and to avoid grime and dirt. Men have larger pores, oilier and dirtier skin than women, which is why regular and thorough cleansing of your face and skin is a must. You can use a chemical free cleanser twice a day and if possible once right before shaving.

Exfoliate

Exfoliating your skin and face is more important than cleansing because it reaches dirt deep down your pores that normal washing can’t do. You can do this twice or thrice a week to make your skin smoother and to remove dullness cause by dirt build-up and pore clogging.

Moisturize

A moisturizer can keep your skin soft and can replenish its natural moisture. It can also prevent acne outbreak and razor burn. Use a moisturizer with SPF and multispectrum defense formulated for men to have the best result. Also, a natural men's facial fluid containing  Witch Hazel to heal and repair damage done to your skin caused by shaving should be a part of every men skin care routine.

Healthy diet and lifestyle

What you eat and what you do directly affect your skin. So you need to make sure that you are eating healthy foods and drinking plenty of water daily to keep yourself hydrated. Avoiding alcohol, soda and cigar can prevent your skin from getting dry.

In addition, exercise is very important for your skin. The sweat you produce during exercise can shove dirt and other waste in your body. Also, getting enough sleep everyday can help your skin natural and healthy.
